A wireless site survey can help with:

• Determining the equipment you need to get the best coverage and performance (e.g. how many wireless routers or repeaters/antennas you need)
• Figuring out which rooms may be problematic due to structural factors (e.g. steel frame buildings or out-of-the-way offices)
• Whether interference sources are disrupting your network and how to fix them (e.g. neighbouring wireless networks, faulty microwave ovens, old cordless phones, etc.)
• Whether you will get the performance you need from wireless-only or whether you should consider a mix of wireless and wired networking

 

How it works:

1. Complete the pre-survey questionnaire. The questionnaire provides D-Link with the basic information they need to set up your survey.
2. D-Link will contact you and arrange a time and date for a network expert to attend your premises and conduct the survey.
3. Once completed, you will receive a full report with all the findings and recommendations.
