How to access Online Courses

Connecting Up Online Courses is a collaboration between Connecting Up and TechSoup Global providing self-paced online learning for charities and NFPs.

The Online Courses portal also provides access to the Microsoft Digital Skills Centre which contains beginner to expert level courses on Microsoft products.

There is a mixture of free and paid courses on the Online Courses portal.

 

Access Online Courses

  1. If you haven't already, sign up for a free Connecting Up membership.
     
  2. Go to the Courses homepage, or use the menu links:
     

     
  3. Click the green "Sign Up" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
     
  4. Fill out the form with the same details you used to sign up with Connecting Up.
    Note: Online Courses is a separate platform (your Connecting Up member credentials aren't transferred) so you need to complete the sign-up process to access the courses.
     
  5. Browse through the course catalogue, or search for a course on a specific topic. You can choose between single modules or "tracks" (bundles of single modules grouped in a logical stream).
     
  6. You can resume previously started courses on your Enrolments page.
