Are user CALs/limited user CALs concurrent
Are User CALs transferrable between users, or does the structure require one license per named user?

Hi, If you are asking the question in terms of concurrent users vs named users then the answer is Named Users. Eg. If you have 50 staff, but only 25 of these are using a computer (or other device) at any one time then if you have User CAL licenses, you must purchase 50 User CALs. The User CALs allow that user to access your environment on as many devices as required. I hope this answers your question.. more information can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/about-licensing/client-access-license.aspx or for more detail look at http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/about-licensing/volume-licensing-briefs.aspx#tab=1
