Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Upgrades / Key Management Service (KMS) licence
Hi, We are looking at acquiring 50 units of Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Upgrade 32-Bit (SKU: LS-44409). We understand that the appropriate volume license keys for product activation use a Key Management Service (KMS) license key. Our query is as follows: We currently use a hardware based disk duplicator to duplicate images from a master. Will this procedure be compatible with the Key Management Service (KMS) license key? Thanks, Regards, Leigh

Hi Leigh, You don't have to run KMS - it's one of two choices available to you. Most people choose to simply report back to the MS Key servers. When you make your master image run a sysprep over it as the last step and you'll avoid running foul of either KMS or the MS key server. Regards, Chris Far Edge
