Even though MYOB suggests that AssetManager Pro is not compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7 you may still be able to get it to run correctly using the "Compatibility Mode". Before you set about looking for alternatives I suggest you first setup a test installation of AssetManager Pro in Compatibility Mode. To configure the Compatibility Mode for an application you need to locate the installation directory and right click on the appropriate .exe file, then from the menu select Properties and the Compatibility tab. Here you can choose to run the program in Windows XP mode (for the various Service Packs) or even in Windows 95 mode if necessary. You can also disable potentially problematic Windows Vista/7 interface features such as visual themes and desktop composition if you still can’t get things working reliably. Hi, could you please advise what you are after the asset management software for? There is a way to run this, using a couple of options which we are happy to discuss with you once we know a bit about the solutions you are after, feel free to contact us. Sometime the above suggestion works ok, and sometimes it doesn't depends on how well the application is written.
