Mail Campaign Management Software
I have browsed the Donortec catalogue and note a number of products which assist with basic email send/receive. I don't see anything which provides campaign management - by which I mean the ability to prepare formatted [HTML] content, select categories of email recipients, bulk mail [without ones ISP going into 'ban' mode], provide reports on delivery success, allow recipients to auto 'unsubscribe', etc. Have I missed something in the current offering? If not, what do other non-profits use/recommend? Thanks, Bruce Lancashire

Hi Bruce, I would personally recommend a cloud solution such as MailChimp.Reply by Bianca Wirth from Wirth Consulting Pty Ltd on Thursday, 30 June, 2011 - 09:25
Hi Bruce, In the past my not for profit customers have used Mailchimp - as suggested previously. It is a good option because you have up 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails for free per month. Other online hosted services that provide the type of features you mentioned include AWeber and Constant Contact. Alternately if you have a website based on a content management system like Joomla, Drupal etc there are many email packages you can install on the website itself to allow full integration with your website. Another consideration is integrating your email marketing software into your CRM - Salesforce allows non-profits 10 free user licenses and it includes integration with Vertical Response email marketing software (online). Each user gets 500 email credits to start with and then you purchase additional credits (at a pretty reasonable rate). Best regards, Bianca Wirth Consulting Technology + Social Change
