Online donation 'product/e-certificate' automation recommendations

I'm seeking a low-cost online solution to automate our(symbolic) animal 'adoptions' (donations). The solution needs to be able to create an e-certificate' based on information provided by the donor (ie business name/giftee etc), needs to be able to create and send certificate along with other info about the cause to the donor, (ie static pdf or similar) and/or the gift recipient immediately after the online purchase/donation. We use Blackbaud's e-tapestry for our CRM, and I'm not convinced it can support this (but it is one option im currently looking into). We use wordpress website so I'm open to looking at a suitable plug-in if one exists? The end solution needs to be cost-effective as we are a very small charity. We currently fulfil these donations manually which isn't an ideal donor experience and doesn't support growth objectives for this income stream. Any suggestions/recommendations would be very welcome! thanks, Vicki

Hello Vicki, We can discuss some robust solutions with you, if you are happy to move your eTapestry database to another CRM like Salesforce. Not sure if you have explored Salesforce in the past but Salesforce.org provides up to 10 free licenses to registered charities. You obviously can hire a Salesforce implementation partner to move your database from eTap to Salesforce but the license cost will be free moving forward. Look forward to hearing from you. If the user is making the purchase via the website then I presume some kind of ecommerce is attached. Hi Vicki Donation options can be set up in Woocommerce which is a popular free e-commerce platform for Wordpress which you use. Woocommerce integrates with most payment gateways such as Stripe and Paypal. Receipts are automatically issued in pdf format. The invoices/receipts can be configured as certificates or the certificates can be merged and sent separately. Regards John B
