Hi, Our office is currently running MYOB Accounting Plus v13.5. We have just upgraded our computer systems and O/S to Windows 10 Pro. Could you please advise me what version of MYOB we need to purchase compatible to windows 10 pro and if the Data files on our currently MYOB can be backed up and loaded to the new version. Thanks! Kind Regards, Gerald Oblea

Bearing in mind my company isn't expert with these things, and that we moved from MYOB to going fully cloud-based with Xero some time ago... these might help you: * Upgrading from Accounting Plus to AccountRight: http://community.myob.com/t5/Getting-started-with/Upgrade-from-Accounting-Plus-v-13-5/td-p/66711 * Recommended system requirements for various latest versions of MYOB: http://myob.com.au/myob/business/minimum-system-requirements-1258091134850 Regards, RossReply by Grant Laing from Blended IT Solutions on Sunday, 3 January, 2016 - 14:57
Hi, If you get the latest version of myob you should be right. But seeing as you are on version 13.5 I would suggest setting up an old computer and upgrading your file through a few versions first. I would goto version 15, then 17, then 19, then to the latest one, otherwise sometimes the file can get corrupted. Most accountants would have these versions so ask them if they can do it for you. hope this helps GrantReply by Mick Devine from Calxa Australia on Monday, 4 January, 2016 - 10:26
Hi Gerald AccountRight 2015 is what you'll need and you can get a discounted version through Connecting Up. While I see Grant's point about the possibility of data corruption, my view is that, as long as you've backed up the original first, a single upgrade from 13.5 to 2015 gives you fewer points where it can be corrupted - and you can always go back to the original and start again if you need to. Good Luck! Mick
