Hi, This is pretty broad question. I guess the best answer would be, it depends on what type of data you need to manage. Normally most big data sets are managed through a database type system, or depending on what you are trying to achieve you could use sharepoint as well. If you can provide some more details on what type of data you want or need to manage we can investigate and get back to you. Feel free to send any details through email if you like. Thanks GrantReply by from Pre-emptive Strike Pty Ltd on Tuesday, 21 May, 2013 - 13:23
Hi Judy, We have a very flexible data management system (plexus2) that you can run either from your own server or from the cloud. If you are able to e-mail through details of the information that you are seeking to manage, along with an outline of any equipment that you may already have, I would be very happy to put a quote together for you and supply you with examples of what we have done. Please don't hesitate to ask if we can be of any further assistance. Regards, GordonReply by Peter Dijkema from Organon Consulting on Tuesday, 21 May, 2013 - 13:42
Hi, As Grant mentioned it depends what of data you want to manage and who and how you are going to use it. With the NDIS being introduced it is more important than ever for disability services providers to make sure they know who they interact with, when they need to interact with them and how to interact with the different people and their preferences. If you are looking for a solution that can potentially address these areas then we might be able to help you. We provide CRM solutions that can help you address these areas but it really depends on what you objective is. Please feel free to contact me: pdijkema@organonconsulting.com.au. Hi Judy, As the responses above suggest, it does depend on the data you are looking to collect. We provide a solution that manages your sponsorships, donations and other CRM related functions which is integrated with your website called 360 DEGREES. Yu can view our website www.cce.im for more information. The websites we design are then also built on a content management system (CMS) which allows the data in your website to be maintained by you. We use open source CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla! or can build a custom CMS based on our own CMS platform called Solid CMS. In addition, we then offer integration with a specific disability services database for the management of your clients, including the changes that will be required with the NDIS introduction over the coming years. This database is managed through a third party organisation called DCA and their application is called The Care Manager (TCM). TCM is used in disability organisations across the country - for example Yooralla use TCM to manage their individualised support packages, CDC programs and housing for their clients. For more information on TCM, have a look at their website www.tcm7.com.au We pride ourselves on providing an A-Z solution for community services organisations and would be happy to discuss with you how all of the above could be implemented seamlessly and with minimal cost to your organisation. We have the skills to manage all of the above or only parts depending on what you are looking to achieve. Please feel free to contact me for more information if appropriate. Good luck! Hi Judy, There are many 'off-the-shelf' software solutions that support the Community Care sector. Choosing the 'right one' is an important decision and there are many factors to consider. Orchard Consulting Group is a specialist IT consultancy service that provides business and software analytics directly to the Community Care sector. We pride ourselves on 'finding the right software' to match business requirements. I recently wrote an article explaining some of the questions to ask before purchasing a business application - http://betterboards.net/author/donnaorchard/ Feel free to contact me for any further information, we can certainly assist. Kind regards, Donna OrchardReply by from Samartha Information Systems Pty Ltd on Wednesday, 22 May, 2013 - 08:33
Dear Judy There are many options available in the market. Best way to proceed further is to decide what you need in software. Do you have your requirements ready? Are you looking for software that is NDIS compatible? How many users planning to access the system? Do you want system on cloud or hosted in-house on your server? You may want to have a checklist by which you can compare each software options, as many times you may get software which does too many/ too less than what you need. Let me know if you need any further information. Best Regards Milind KulkarniReply by Lidia Lal from Blackbaud Pacific Pty Ltd on Wednesday, 22 May, 2013 - 09:47
Hi Judy, The above commentary is full of good ideas and questions that you should be asking. I'd also suggest you take a look at eTapestry once you've completed your needs analysis: https://www.blackbaud.com.au/etapestry With best wishes, Naomi
