Multipoint server

Hi I would like to purchase Windows Multipoint Server standard and have 9 Zero (thin) clients connected to the server via USB. Is the individual CAL aslo required in addition to multipoint server standard Multipoint server - $20 CALs - $4 x 9 If we load Microsoft Office on the server for use by users in the thin client terminals, what is required license wise? Do we need 10 licenses instead of the 1 for the server? Many thanks Kind regards Mark

Hi Mark, Yes you will need cals for the thin clients or other users that are going to connect to the server. eg. 1 x server standard and 9 x cals. (9 users) Also if you load office on the server, then you will need a licence for as many users that are accessing the server. eg. 9 users you need 9 office licences. Make sure you get the right licensing version of office as not all copies will install and work in this environment. Feel free to send us an email if you need anymore help.
