Symantec Norton AV/Malware options
Hi, My organisation has an existing TrendMicro license for 15 ocmputers, expiring soon. I also have 30ish new computers that need AV and Malware protection. Symantec kindly donates via Donortec, but the DonorTec pages are confusing unless you are familiar with Symantec's offering (clearly I am not). Which Symantec Endpoint parts do I need? How many of them? We have: Three servers, one with four virtuals inside it. 15 older PCs with TrendMicro 30 new PCs with nothing We do not need or want email protection.

Hi, you just need the endpoint security protection product. I wouldn't use the norton product for this many pc's and servers. The options are the following Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition, protects pc's and servers but no email protection. Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Edition (Protection for 1 Endpoint) includes email protection for exchange. If you have an exchange server this is a good product. These products will provide a central admin point for all the pc's and servers, to ensure they are updated and the scans can run out of hrs. If you need a hand to install this (can get complicated) or need more info please let us know.
