Why didn't you get SBS? It includes Sharepoint portal services which should handle your requirements. http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/en-us/buy/Pages/Editions-Comparison.aspx has a comparison of the editions - probably best to work out what features you need first, then you can establish what licences you require.

SBS is a good basis as is does come with limited Sharepoint functionality, but it would be a good idea to speak to a sharepoint consultant as to your requirements. Sharepoint is one of those applications that needs a fair bit of development to be useful.

I agree with what has been said so far. SBS includes Sharepoint and is ideally suited for a company your size. While there are plenty of pre-built apps around for it, it requires someone to put it all together and that's usually a Sharepoint developer/consultant. I would add that it's an environment that benefits larger organizations.
