With the Intel vPro technology, security technologies are designed into PC hardware instead of the software, making the PC less vulnerable to security threats. The desktop includes a variety of security features such as USB port disablement for physically managing data going in and out of a PC. Lenovo includes Hardware Password Manager standard for simple management of encrypted hard drives. Additionally, the ThinkCentre M91p desktop includes a Trusted Platform Module, a secure crypto-processor chip that manages encryption keys and processes.
