R & G Technologies helps Xavier Children’s Support Network address their IT pains
“We have been very impressed at the outcome of all projects, and have seen productivity increase and IT headaches drop dramatically.” - Lynn Card, CEO of Xavier
Xavier Children’s Support Network is a not-for-profit organisation that specialises in supporting and empowering families with disabled children.
Problem:
One of the key motivations for contacting R & G Technologies was the board directive to explore the level of risk associated with IT. Xavier were using a ‘one man band’ and there was a real worry within the organisation that there could be a loss of critical information should something happen to him.
Solution:
By helping Xavier quantify their current productivity loss, R & G was able to demonstrate there was a clear and compelling case to save the organisation's money.
R & G then undertook a complete review of Xavier’s business software and infrastructure systems, presenting a detailed report to the board and a strategic ICT review report which addressed the needs of the organisation moving forward.
This review focused on implementing a sound infrastructure platform that delivered an ‘end to end’ solution. The team implemented Citrix, a fleet of dummy terminals and new IT support structure, Microsoft SharePoint, a new finance application and a custom developed software system.
“We have been very impressed at the outcome of all projects, and have seen productivity increase and IT headaches drop dramatically,” says Lynn Card CEO of Xavier. “R & G Technologies have become our one stop IT partner and since engaging their services our IT systems are becoming than adequate to meet our needs now and into the future.”
