O365 - External Sharing (appear in OneDrive)

I am reading as much as I can about O365, in particular SharePoint Team Sites. Our organisation works closely with another, our office is on the same site - we are effectively "physically hosted" by them. I manage IT for both, the host organisation is the larger of the two. All systems are more or less separate but now identical - Google G Suite (NFP) + O365 Business Premium (NFP). The "host" has a Team Site, which everyone in that organisation accesses via Office on iPads etc and OneDrive on computers. I have now setup a Team Site on our side and our team members will access files in the same way. Where this gets tricky is there are a small number of team members who operate in both organisations. I have managed to share some G Suite Calendars in both directions by using the whitelisted domains feature. This is easy. In O365 world, I am either misunderstanding or it is truly more complex. What I hope to achieve: 1. Team member can access files for both organisations on iPad via Team Sites directly within Office apps 2. Team member can access files for both organisations on computer via OneDrive syncing (appears in Windows Explorer for example) 3. Easily add team member to specific Teams/Planner and any other tools. Is this only achievable by them being a guest user in our domain, or another means? I have added guest users to the host for other purposes and they are accessing certain Team Site folders via web browser ok, but it doesn't sync with OneDrive very well. Maybe I am not getting this right either. We use SharePoint and Teams tools at my workplace (large corporate), and we have external Guests on some of our Teams/Channels. I don't have deep access to any of the Admin systems to learn how and what though. I have a lot to learn in this area! Any guidance much appreciated! I just can't find any article online which says "do this and they will see the external organisations files in OneDrive - Team Site etc" I understand this is a large question to ask free of charge. If you feel this is something that should be engaged professionally, happy to negotiate.

Good afternoon, What kind of issues do you have syncing with OneDrive? You should be able to share externally with the guest accounts as you have been doing so far, perhaps you are missing a setting to allow what you are attempting? This guide may help you along the way? https://sharegate.com/blog/ultimate-guide-deal-with-office-365-external-sharing#how-can-users You can also consider setting up accounts for each user and assigning E1 licenses to them which should should get free as a NFP.
