Which Microsoft O365 NFP Product?

Hi! I manage IT for two different organisations. The first organisation uses Microsoft O365 Business Premium (Nonprofit) @ ~$3.80 per user. It gives us all the bells and whistles, mostly this gives us SharePoint so we can setup Team Sites. All of this was established in the first organisation before I took on IT there. The second organisation I have now obtained NFP approval and am at the point of selecting the right product. We have two main choices and this is confusing: 1. O365 Business Premium (as per the other organisation) 2. O365 Business (Nonprofit) Donation - FREE Now it looks like the FREE option has more features according to the plan selection/comparison, but I read other things that suggest the FREE for NFP doesn't have Office application licenses, BUT it seems to have extras like Azure AD. Really confusing. Can this be any clearer or is someone able to explain this please? Thanks!

Hey. Confirming free version doe NOT include the Office Suite (word, excel, powerpoint, etc). Premium licenses include everything in the free version PLUS Office. Premium also includes basic Azure AD. Premium is the way to go. Hope this helps. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/nonprofit/office-365-nonprofit-plans-and-pricing?activetab=tab%3aprimaryr1Reply by Roger Dosanjh from Forrest Training on Monday, 14 October, 2019 - 15:36
Be aware that with Office 365 subscriptions there are now two parallel licensing programmes. Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Azure AD is included in every Office subscription. It is the database that holds all the user names and hashed passwords Specific recommendations Best to speak with the Microsoft licensing person. He will explain the differences between the two more clearly than I can. Ring Microsoft on 02 9870 2200 and ask for licensingReply by Roger Dosanjh from Forrest Training on Monday, 14 October, 2019 - 15:37

Excellent, thank you all SO MUCH! We will proceed with Business Premium and go from there. Afterall it is what the other organisation has and I know what it does. I'd hate to choose the free version and then encounter a mess trying to shift plans.
