Update for Mac OSX 10.5.6 to 10.5.8
Hi, Can you please let me know what the procedure is for updating the operating system to 10.5.8 on a Re-furbished Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4ghz. We purchased the macbook through Donortec and Microsoft OfficeMac 2011 which will not run on the current operating system 10.5.6. Also could you please advise if there is any cost involved. Hi There Angela, I found a pretty detailled article on the Mac forums at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4168487?start=0&tstart=0 Not sure if you specifically need to go to 10.5.8 rather than 10.6 but there are still install DVD's for 10.6 available on eBay that you could buy. Other than that, I do not believe that you can get them online and your only remaining option is to call Apple to see if they can provide it.
