Kaspersky Licensing query
Hi Looking at purchasing Kaspersky following your webinar a couple of days ago. I need security for: 1x Exchange mail server/file server (Windows Server 2008 R2/MS Exchange 2010) 1x Sharepoint Server (Windows Server 2008 R2) 1x Windows 2003 Server 1x Terminal Server (Windows Server 2008 R2) 20 windows 7 workstations I'm planning on purchasing a 25 license pack of the Kaspersky Business Space Security assuming that these licenses are interchangeable between desktops and servers. Is this the case? The Kaspersky website lists the workstation licenses separate from the server licenses but your site just offers "licenses". Please advise so I can place the order. Thank you.

Hi Karakan, This is a very common question when it comes to licensing. What you have planned to purchase is correct at 25 Enterprise Space Security licences. This could change though depending on how many mailboxes you will need to protect? 25 licences will protect 38 mailboxes. 1 licence = 1.5 mailboxes. So providing you don't have any more than 38 mailboxes 25 licences is what you will require. When you purchase the 25 licences you will then need to download the modules you require. Workstation = Workstation Module File Server = File Server Module Mail Server = Mail Server Module You will see when you get the licence and the links to download the solution that you can pick and choose what you require. These modules will then be activated by the Licence key you receive. Of course if you need any further assistance please contact me on 0451 041 140 or businesssupport@kaspersky.com.au
